Winding down another ---

Well today marks 1 of the last 2 Mondays we have of this school year, and I am happy to say -- YAY!! I am going to miss my kids, but I have to say, after having perfect attendance this year for the first time in 10 years, I really really need this summer break!!

Several things going on these last two weeks and in the 1st two-three week of summer break --

May 17 marks out last Student Council event of the school year
May 19 marks the last Student Council meeting of the school year
May 20, everything is due and kids have to have all work turned in so I can do grades
May 25 is our end of year 6th grade BBQ -- which should be a blast!
May 26 we start cleaning rooms and desks/chairs and taking things off walls
May 27, last day -- I have to say I am going to miss this group of kiddos
May 28 -- we offically move out of our rental house and the place we've called home for the past 4 years
May 29 we officially move into our temporary living place until mid-end june and move all belongins, except the bed, TV, W/D, food and freezer into storage
June 28 is scheduled closing date of the house we are trying to buy

WOW, I get tired just reading it all -- We opened escrow on house today -- and the property management company finally got back in touch with me and responded to my numerous emails and phone calls and we aren't liable for rent or anything here at the rental because the lease hasn't started yet -- so that was good news!

I packed up some of the last of the kitchen and some odds and ends that we left unpacked when we thought we weren't going anywhere, luckily, I didn't unpack much, so the main things left are the knick knacks around, and the mad house of a garage!!  I am not looking forward to tackling that, however, I hope this weather holds up with this breeze because then it won't be too bad -- I can get it all packed up before it gets hot!!

Only downside to moving the AZ summer is the AZ heat!!! 

John took truck to emissions today and it passed, so that's good, we were able to get tags on it, so he isn't driving illegally anymore! LOL

Well, I am off to bed, long day to be had tomorrow -- going to look at storage unit after work.  Ya'll behave yourselves and we'll talk at ya later!
