Well, today is a historical day -- last Monday of this school year (thank goodness), last Monday in our current rental. We took another load to storage tonight, wish John got home earlier than 5 so we could take a couple a night, just to not have as much to move on Saturday --
The loads we have taken, 5 altogether I think, haven't even put a dent in the amount of stuff still laying around the house and all the boxes that are still left.... I have learned, too, that it is true that the laundry is NEVER done!!!
I called SRP today and got everything set up to be transferred to our temp location -- then I called to have our water transferred to the new house to get the inspection done -- needless to say I have absolutely decided that the City of Avondale has completely lost their minds!!!! 60.00 to have the water turned on, and another 175.00 deposit!!!! THAT IS NUTS!!! And, I have been a customer of theirs for 7 years and still hav to pay the stupid deposit!!! It's insane!!
Inspection is getting done this week -- then ordering appraisal on June 3, or there abouts. Once the loan gets going, it takes about 3 weeks to close and my loan officer said so far everything is looking good!
Honestly we haven't gotten this far on the other 2.. actually moving stuff to storage, and stuff... wow!!! I can't believe that this time next week, I'll be out of this rental!! Well, that's all for today!

Packing --
Well, a very productive couple of days -- got all house packed, it is looking mighty bare in here!! Took 2 loads to storage (which included only things from the garage). One week of school left. Called and got cable/internet transferred, gotta call elec company tomorrow to transfer service there -- got a fridge (black with ice maker/water). Got kitchen packed including pantry and all food = WOW, I hadn't noticed my stockpile of coupon stuff~! Holy Cow!! Oh well, at least I know we won't go hungry!! ha ha!!!
Well, I am going to relax and join the rest of my evening and hopefully relax!! It's been a busy 2 days! :)

Garage down....
Well, we got the garage packed today!!! Whew.. I have to say I was not looking forward to that!!! But, it went smoothly and got all odd and end holiday decor to fit in a box!! yay!!
Kitchen is done with the exception of a few last dishes and things that don't get that much use --- we have surround sound to pack and a few pictures and decor in the living room, but other than that and the clothes, we are about ready to go -- like I said, just a few odds and ends here and there...
Gotta call still and get elec, water, cable, and internet turned on at temp location, but that should be a snap. Pl.ease pray this goes through -- I really really really need it to, as I have basically given up my place to live as of May 31 and well, we didn't actually go through with this the last time -- so things are shaping up a bit different. Anyway -- keep 'em coming!! Any friends in Phoenix area, we will be packing up the house to move to storage on May 28, Saturday morning about 9am... if you can or are willing to help, John and I are providing lunch and beverages!! Please meet at our house around 9am, as I have to pick the truck up at 8:30. Thanks yall!!

Winding down another ---
Well today marks 1 of the last 2 Mondays we have of this school year, and I am happy to say -- YAY!! I am going to miss my kids, but I have to say, after having perfect attendance this year for the first time in 10 years, I really really need this summer break!!
Several things going on these last two weeks and in the 1st two-three week of summer break --
May 17 marks out last Student Council event of the school year
May 19 marks the last Student Council meeting of the school year
May 20, everything is due and kids have to have all work turned in so I can do grades
May 25 is our end of year 6th grade BBQ -- which should be a blast!
May 26 we start cleaning rooms and desks/chairs and taking things off walls
May 27, last day -- I have to say I am going to miss this group of kiddos
May 28 -- we offically move out of our rental house and the place we've called home for the past 4 years
May 29 we officially move into our temporary living place until mid-end june and move all belongins, except the bed, TV, W/D, food and freezer into storage
June 28 is scheduled closing date of the house we are trying to buy
WOW, I get tired just reading it all -- We opened escrow on house today -- and the property management company finally got back in touch with me and responded to my numerous emails and phone calls and we aren't liable for rent or anything here at the rental because the lease hasn't started yet -- so that was good news!
I packed up some of the last of the kitchen and some odds and ends that we left unpacked when we thought we weren't going anywhere, luckily, I didn't unpack much, so the main things left are the knick knacks around, and the mad house of a garage!! I am not looking forward to tackling that, however, I hope this weather holds up with this breeze because then it won't be too bad -- I can get it all packed up before it gets hot!!
Only downside to moving the AZ summer is the AZ heat!!!
John took truck to emissions today and it passed, so that's good, we were able to get tags on it, so he isn't driving illegally anymore! LOL
Well, I am off to bed, long day to be had tomorrow -- going to look at storage unit after work. Ya'll behave yourselves and we'll talk at ya later!

3rd Time's a Charm....RIGHT?????
Ok, so hopefully I got your attention with the title, and for those of you who have been following my never ending epic of a trying to buy a house over the last 7 months or so, we are starting round 3!!!
WE have found another house, it opens escrow tomorrow -- now before I go any further, let me tell you the updates that started it all over! I have been waiting (patience is a virtue, that is not a strong quality of mine) for this 3rd credit bureau letter... the bureau that actually "counts". Low and behold I got it this past week, and I have to say I was overcome with joy!!! All 3 credit bureaus have deleted the credit issue that kept us from getting the other 2 houses!!!
I called my Realtor right away, as she has been my rock through this whole thing and her first words were, when do you want to look at houses, well, the panic set in. I had just signed my lease on April 29.... now, don't panic, and say oh no, you can't...because, in the lease it states that it doesn't start until June 1 -- saved right??? Well, almost...I have emailed and called the property management company on more than one occasion since Thursday and no response -- So, since we are opening escrow tomorrow, I had my Realtor do a little digging and I sent her a copy of my lease to see what options I have -- here's what we have found -- We are about 99.9% sure that I am not legally binding to the lease because the official start date isn't until June 1 -- and my security deposit isn't due until June 3, sooooooooooooooooo, I am not binded yet -- however, we have placed a call into our state renter's attorney just to be sure -- if that is the case, then we are moving into a temporary location (rent free) until house closes...panic because....(drum roll please) -- we have to vacate by May 31!!! OH MY!!!!
So, for the next 2 weeks, I am going to be packing up the house again, luckily I was smart and hardly unpacked anything except the food, some pictures and the surround sound. Downside, we have to put all of our stuff in storage until the house closes -- so, to our temporary location, we are only taking the TV, bed, and washer/dryer and living literally out of a suitcase for about a month, maybe not even a month.
The management company we are using said the actual closing date is June 28, but he has told my Realtor we can close before that, soooooooooooo, I am hoping it's around June 15 or so.
Plus, I will be on summer break, so that will make moving a lot easier not having to plan around work and it will give me the whole summer to get unpacked and settled!!! I am very excited and am hoping this all works out this time. So, I know this jinxed me last time, but I took pictures of the house and I want to share them... I will put captions under each one, so you know what they are of, and where in the house they are!!

I know, I know..it's been awhile
Hello friends and family!! Sorry it's been so long, life has literally gotten in the way of any "free" time... LOL. Hmmmm, well, what's happened since I posted last... we waited and waited and finally got the final credit bureau report back, and YES, it has been deleted!!! YIPPEE!! Now just to pay off medical bills --
John got hired on full time at ConAir!! We are very excited about that, and he finally has benefits!! Yahoo!!!! Only 2 weeks and 2 days left of school, so 12 days -- I can't wait, I haven't missed one single day this year and boy does it feel like it!! ha ha!!! No really, it's been a really good year and I am going to miss this class terribly, as I've had them all for 2 years because I looped with them -- they are an awesome group of kiddos!!! I am anxious to see where they end up.
Got tax return back and deposited unexpectedly, so when we got back from our out of town excursion, it was to a happy bank account!! he he...
We went up and visited friends in Payson this week for their daughter's birthday -- lots of fun. Stayed at the casino hotel there -- didn't win, but fun none the less and the beds were SO comfortable!!!! :)
We went and looked at sectionals yesterday, our couches have had it!! So, that is the next purchase of furniture on the agenda, and a dresser --
Had Kenny Chesney concert on May 1, and man, let me tell ya -- that year off did him very good!! He went back to his roots and it was the best concert I've seen from him in awhile, although all of his are good, but when you have seen as many as I have, they start to look the same, so it was nice to see him change it up and play a little bit of everything.. and I have to say that "Hemingway's Whiskey" is my new favorite Kenny CD, it's traditional country, which is why I "fell in love" with him to begin with!!! Very inspiring!
My next concert is NKOTBSB on June 30, and I can't wait!!! I am making sure my camera has plenty of space and batteries for that one -- 5th row., AHHHH Donnie up close...AHHHHHHHHHHH -- I can't wait...
I also got tickets to Taylor Swift in October and Journey in July -- all I'm missing now is Daughtry and Sugarland --
Well, there's an update -- Hope all is well with everyone!!
